We just couldn't bear to miss another fall in the Upper Pensilula of Michigan, and Gerry Adams has organized a workshop on the "Introduction to the edible and poisonous mushrooms of Michigan" for October 8-10, 2004 at the Ford Forestry Center in L'Anse, Michigan. The food is great (especially the steak, whitefish, and mushroom cookout), and there are great oppportunities for learing more about which mushrooms you can eat. Beginners and more advanced participants will learn a great deal. Mycological staff includes Gerry Adams, Dan Czederpiltz, Heather Hallen, Joe Krawczyk, Mary Ellen Kozak, Dana Richter and Tom Volk. We expect great mushrooms this year. We hope you can make it!
