 Adansonia madagascarinsis- Baobab (Bombacaceae)

The baobabs or bottle trees are an example of a genus restricted to the African and Australasian tropics. The genus has most species in Madagascar, one widespread species in Africa, and one species in northwestern Australia. Leaves palmately compound and flowers, solitary, axillary with deeply lobed calyx.
